Commentary

Manque comme type à Feuardent. Ce jeton est de facture XVIIIe siècle. Il n’appartiendrait donc pas à Pierre de Loz mais plutôt à un autre membre de la famille, probablement Hippolyte Loz de Beaucours (1746-1830), le dernier avocat général au Parlement de Bretagne.
Les armes de Loz portent de gueules à trois éperviers d'argent, becqués et grillés d'or. La famille vient de Trélévern où elle possède le château de Kergouanton et la seigneurie de Coëtgourhant de Kermorvan en Trélévern, de Kerscouac’h sur la paroisse de Louannec mais aussi des seigneuries sur les paroisses de Trézény, Hengoat et même Quessoy. La famille de Loz de Kergouanton s’est éteinte en 1668 avec la mort de Pierre de Loz de Kergouanton. Avec son épouse, Françoise de Kergradez, ils furent les principaux fondateurs de l'Hôtel-Dieu de Tréguier. (source : http://www.qualite-info.fr/trelevern/dir-francais/histoire.htm).
Missing as a type in Feuardent. This token is of 18th century manufacture. It would therefore not belong to Pierre de Loz but rather to another member of the family, probably Hippolyte Loz de Beaucours (1746-1830), the last attorney general at the Parliament of Brittany. The Loz coat of arms bears gules with three silver sparrowhawks, beaked and grilled gold. The family comes from Trélévern where it owns the castle of Kergouanton and the lordship of Coëtgourhant de Kermorvan in Trélévern, from Kerscouac'h in the parish of Louannec but also lordships in the parishes of Trézény, Hengoat and even Quessoy. The Loz de Kergouanton family died out in 1668 with the death of Pierre de Loz de Kergouanton. With his wife, Françoise de Kergradez, they were the main founders of the Hôtel-Dieu de Tréguier.
