Obverse description : Écu de France à la bordure crénelée de gueules, entouré des trois colliers de la Toison d’or, de Saint-Michel et du Saint-Esprit, timbré d’une couronne ducale fleurdelisée. Six drapeaux passés en sautoir derrière le cartouche indiquent le grade de colonel-général de l’infanterie.
