Ce gros est frappé sur un flan large et irrégulier. Monnaie présentant quelques faiblesses de frappe et recouverte d’une jolie patine grise. La croix du revers apparaît en négatif au droit

(1312-1355)
John III of Brabant is the son of John II (1275-1312) and Margaret of England (1275-1318), daughter of Edward of England. He succeeded his father in 1312. He married his daughters: Marguerite (1323-1368) to Louis de Male, Count of Flanders (1330-1384) in 1347 and Jeanne to Wenceslas of Luxembourg, Duke of Brabant (1337-1383) in 1352.
