Fontenay nous donne les chiffres de fabrication de ce jeton gravé en juin 1659 par Jean Varin : 100 en or, 2400 en argent et 6000 en cuivre. La moisson du revers annonce la paix et l’abondance. Dès le 9 mai, les hostilités avaient cessé entre l’Espagne et la France, le traité des Pyrénées sera signé en novembre 1659.

The harvest on the reverse announces peace and abundance. By May 9, hostilities had ceased between Spain and France, and the Treaty of the Pyrenees was signed in November 1659.
