(1260-1321)

Renaud de Bourgogne is Count of Montbéliard and Count of Belfort from 1282 to 13211, and heir lord among others of Montaigu, Lons in part, Dramelay, Sellières, Pymorin, Montfleur, Binans, Marigna, Le Pin. He was the fourth of 11 children of Countess Adelaide of Burgundy (v1209-1279) and Count Hugues de Chalon (1220-1266), and brother of Count Othon IV of Burgundy from 1279 to 1303. In 1282, he married Guillemette de Neufchâtel (1260-1317) (heiress of the County of Montbéliard and County of Belfort... by her great-grandfather Thierry III de Montbéliard 1205-1283).
