La boite est en bonne état, avec la surface patinée. Les fermoirs fonctionnent bien mais il manque un élément de fermeture. Le document collé à l’intérieur du couvercle est en bon état

Boîte en bois réalisée au début du XIXe siècle avec sur un papier l’inscription : “AU C COURONNE, Rue Cauchoise, n.°38, d. Rouen, CANU, Balancier-Ajusteur, vend toutes sortes de Poids et Balances. Poids de monnaies d’or et d’argent françaises”. On y trouve une liste de valeurs en francs, et leur équivalent en grammes, décigrammes, centigrammes. La boite présente neuf compartiments et comporte vingt-deux poids et un trébuchet.

Rouen, CANU, Balancer-Adjuster, sells all kinds of Weights and Scales. Weights of French gold and silver coins”. It contains a list of values in francs, and their equivalent in grams, decigrams, centigrams. The box has nine compartments and contains twenty-two weights and a trebuchet.
