Exemplaire sur un petit flan bien centré des deux côtés. Protomé de taureau bien venu au droit. Style fin au revers. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Commentary

Droit et revers indiquent la valeur de la monnaie. Le protomé de taureau au droit indique la moitié de l’unité, l’hémidrachme. Tandis qu’au revers, les trois épis sont pour trois oboles. Une hémidrachme correspond à trois oboles (CQFD !) Les mêmes caractéristiques se retrouvent sur les monnaies de Byzance de la même époque (GC. 1583 avec un trident au revers).
Right and reverse indicate the value of the coin. The bull protome on the right indicates half of the unit, the hemidrachm. While on the reverse, the three ears of corn are for three obols. A hemidrachm corresponds to three obols (QFD!) The same characteristics are found on the coins of Byzantium of the same period (GC. 1583 with a trident on the reverse)
