Commentary

Sophie Golshanskaya est née en 1405 dans le château de Golshany. En 1422 à l’âge de 17, elle est mariée au Grand-Duc de Lituanie et roi de Pologne Ladislas II Jagellon (1362-1434). Elle est couronnée Reine de Pologne en 1424. Elle est la mère de deux roi de Pologne : Ladislas III Jagellon ( 1424-1434-1434) et de Ladislas III Jagellon (1427-1447-1492).
Elle meurt en 1461 et est inhumée dans la cathédrale de Cracovie.
