En 2008 la Monnaie Belge a modifié l’avers des pièces Euro. Le monogramme du souverain (Albert II), un A majuscule couronné est désormais gravé dans la partie interne de la pièce. Les initiales “BE” pour le pays ont par ailleurs étaient rajoutées sous ce monogramme..
In 2008, the Belgian Mint modified the obverse of the Euro coins. The sovereign's monogram (Albert II), a crowned capital A, is now engraved on the inner part of the coin. The initials \\\"BE\\\" for the country were also added below this monogram.
