Ce type de liard de Philippe V fut frappé dans le seul atelier de Namur en 1709 et 1710 avec des légendes variées. Philippe V, après la bataille de Ramillies (23 mai 1706) où il perdit le Brabant, continua à frapper à Namur en 1709 et 1710 des patagons, des escalins, des doubles liards et des liards avec le titre de duc de Brabant. Les comptes de fabrication des années 1709 et 1710 regroupent les doubles liards et les liards. L'atelier de Namur aurait frappé pour 214.508 marcs 4 onces et 21.704 exemplaires auraient été mis en boîte.
