BELGIUM - LEUVEN - ALIX DE BOURGOGNE
(1261-1268)
Alix de Bourgogne is the daughter of Hugues IV de Bourgogne and Yolande de Dreux. On the death of her husband (02/28/1261), the Duke of Brabant Henry III, she became regent, her son Jean I of Brabant, born in 1252, being too young to govern. The regency ended in 1268. She died on October 23, 1273.
