La boîte, en cuir ouvragé à motifs en damiers et fleurs, avec un intérieur en feutrine (?), fait 88 mm sur 183 mm. La boîte présente 12 poids pour 8 emplacements, la plupart d’entre eux semblent d’origine tandis que deux poids semblent avoir été rajoutés postérieurement (patine différente des autres exemplaires). Vous retrouverez le ducat de Venise (22,67 g), les quadruple (25,22 g), double (12,60 g), demi (6,29 g) et quart (3,15g) de Gênes, un double de Savoie (9,15 g) pour le Piemont, un double (7,16 g) et l’écu (3,57 g) de Parme, un souverain (11,15g) et demi-souverain (5,28 g) des Pays-Bas sous Marie-Thérèse et Joseph II et un poids pour une pièce de 6 denari (7,40 g).
The box, made of leather with checkerboard and flower patterns, with a felt interior (?), is 88 mm by 183 mm. The box has 12 weights for 8 locations, most of them seem original while two weights seem to have been added later (different patina from other copies). You will find the Venice ducat (22.67 g), the quadruple (25.22 g), double (12.60 g), half (6.29 g) and quarter (3.15 g) of Genoa, a double of Savoy (9.15 g) for Piedmont, a double (7.16 g) and the shield (3.57 g) of Parma, a sovereign (11.15 g) and half-sovereign (5.28 g) of the Netherlands under Maria Theresa and Joseph II and a weight for a 6 denari coin (7.40 g)
