Flan large et frappe centrée des deux côtés, mais droit de frappe très molle, dont on ne distingue les motifs qu'en très faibles reliefs. Revers de qualité malgré une faiblesse de frappe au niveau de l'aurige

Il est vraiment regrettable que le droit ne soit pas mieux frappé avec un coin un peu plus frais ! Le sanglier se devine quand même dans la chevelure au droit et est bien net au revers, entre les jambes du cheval.

The Baïocasses or Bodiocasses are not mentioned in Caesar's Gallic Wars. It is Pliny the Elder who speaks of it first. The Baiocasses occupied part of present-day Normandy, the Bessin. Their neighbors were the Unelles, the Viducasses and the Véliocasses. Their main oppidum was Augustodurum (Bayeux). Pliny (HN. IV, 107). Ptolemy (G. II, 8).
