Exemplaire sur un flan légèrement décentré des deux côtés, irrégulier avec un petit éclat de flan à 9 heures derrière la tête. Beau portrait. Trace de double frappe au revers. Jolie patine grise

Sur cet exemplaire, la massue qui a la forme d’une masse est posée sur un rocher qui a la forme d’un serpent.

(C. 230-200 BC)

Euthydemos ousted Diodotus II, son of Diodotus I, the first usurper in Bactria, revolted against Antiochus II Theos authority (261-346 BC) to 250 BC The reign of Euthydemos was long and he had to face during his reign, Antiochus III the Great who fought and besieged Balkh in Bactria in 208 BC The Seleucid ruler recognized the independence of the breakaway satrapy. At the end of his reign, Sogdiana separated from Bactria. Demetrius already associated to the throne by his father succeeded Euthydemos.
