BACTRIA - Bactrian kingdom - I Eucratides

(170-145 BC)

He returned to O. Bopearachchi have confirmed two Eucratides. The type having a helmeted bust and the Dioscuri on the reverse is well known thanks to the gold coin 20 staters, weighing 169.20 g and is the largest Greek gold coin preserved. It was purchased in 1867 or 30 000 F on personal cassette Napoleon III and is preserved in the Cabinet of medals Paris.
