Magnifique exemplaire frappé sur un fan large et bien centré. Le flan est voilé à cause de la frappe au rouleau. Une très belle patine grise de médaillier recouvre l’exemplaire

(1657-1705)

Leopold (1740-1705) was the son of Ferdinand III and Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire (1657-1705), king of the Germans, Hungary, Bohemia (1658-1705), Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Count of Tyrol. After the Turks had raised the siege of Vienna (1683), he fought against France, in particular by supporting the rights of his son Charles to the Spanish Succession (1700-1711).
