Commentary


Depuis 1780, le thaler de Marie-Thérèse porte toujours l'année 1780. Il a été frappée par les ateliers de Birmingham, Bombay, Bruxelles, Londres, Paris, Rome et Utrecht, et bien sûr par les ateliers autrichiens de Hall, Günzburg, Kremnica, Karlsburg, Milan, Prague et Vienne. Depuis 1946, seule la Monnaie de Vienne frappe ces monnaies avec une production cumulée d’environ 50 millions d’exemplaires.
Since 1780, the Maria Theresa thaler has always borne the year 1780. It was struck by the mints of Birmingham, Bombay, Brussels, London, Paris, Rome and Utrecht, and of course by the Austrian mints of Hall, Günzburg, Kremnica, Karlsburg, Milan, Prague and Vienna. Since 1946, only the Vienna Mint has struck these coins, with a cumulative production of around 50 million.
