Commentary

Ce demi-thaler est frappé à l’occasion de la consécration de la cathédrale de Salzbourg. Le revers représente le transfert du reliquaire contenant les restes de Saint Robert dans la cathédrale de Salzbourg, consacrée dans sa version définitive en 1628.
This half-thaler was struck on the occasion of the consecration of Salzburg Cathedral. The reverse depicts the transfer of the reliquary containing the remains of Saint Robert to Salzburg Cathedral, which was finally consecrated in 1628.
