Bronze bien centré des deux côtés, mais sur un flan irrégulier ou partiellement cassé. Très agréable patine verte lisse et brillante

Ce bronze semble manquer à tous les musées, y compris au Cabinet des Médailles. Il manque aussi aux collections publiées dans le BMCC par Derek Allen. Seulement sept exemplaires sont répertoriés dans le Moneta V .

GALLIA - AULERCI EBUROVICES (Area of Évreux)
(3rd - 1st century BC)
The Aulerci were subdivided into three tribes: Aulerci Diablintes, Aulerci Cenomani and Aulerci Éburovices. The territory of Aulerques Éburovices corresponds to the current department of Eure. They are quoted several times in Caesar's Commentaries. According to the latter, they would have massacred their Senate favorable to the Romans in 56 BC and would have joined the Unelles and the revolted Lexoviens. In 52 BC, they provided a contingent of three thousand men to the relief army. : Caesar (BG.(II, 34; III, 17, 29; VII, 4, 75; VIII, 7). Kruta: 72.
