Commentary

The denarius DT. 2366, of the same type as the one proposed here, is described as having a “semi-circular motif doubled by a circle with a pearl decoration between the two curves”. It seems reasonable to us to compare this motif with the head of Helios on the so-called “front bust” coins (cf. DT. 2002-2004, 2013-2015)!
