Commentary


Ce type avec la tête radiée n’est pas un dupondius, mais un as. Il est possible que l’aigle du revers ait appartenu à une statue qui se trouvait dans le temple de Jupiter Capitolin.
This guy with the radiated head is not a dupondius, but an ace. It is possible that the eagle on the reverse belonged to a statue which was in the temple of Jupiter Capitolinus
