Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec le grènetis complet au droit. Portrait énigmatique au droit. Frappe brouillée au revers. Patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Commentary
Magistrats Démétrios et Agathippos. Trace de double frappe au revers, aspect brouillé et coin bouché dans le bas du revers. Nous n’avons pas relevé de liaison de coin pertinente, bien que notre exemplaire soit très proche du coin de droit (A/ 900).

Athens after the death of Alexander the Great tried to regain its independence. The Athenians were defeated at Crannon in 322 BC. Demosthenes committed suicide so as not to be delivered to Antipater. After this date, Athens only survived thanks to its past prestige. Cassander captured Athens in 317 BC and established an oligarchic regime.
