Magnifique triens, bien centré et d’un très beau style, mais sur un flan trop court. Très bon or bien jaune

Commentary

Bien qu'idéalement centré, ce triens ne permet pas la lecture des légendes, ni au droit ni au revers. Le C en cantonnement de la croix est la seule caractéristique, d'ailleurs peu courante, permettant un rapprochement à une autre monnaie publiée. Seul le triens B. 2222 attribué à LODENVS, un atelier non déterminé de la cité de Limoges, a cette caractéristique, mais la croix est posée sur un degré et le style général est différent.
Although ideally centered, this triens does not allow the legends to be read, either on the obverse or the reverse. The C in the quarter of the cross is the only characteristic, moreover uncommon, allowing a comparison with another published coin. Only the triens B. 2222 attributed to LODENVS, an undetermined mint in the city of Limoges, has this characteristic, but the cross is placed on a step and the general style is different
