Denier sur un flan irrégulier et épais, avec tous les types bien frappés et complets. Exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise

Reverse description : O S accosté de globules, sous une barre d’abréviation.


Ce type appartient à une série bien connue, mais mal étudiée.
Les deux exemplaires 276-277 de Bais ont bien cet avers mais associé à un revers avec SO (S rétrograde) alors que le 278 est comparable à cette monnaie.
Aucune attribution convaincante ne semble avoir été proposée pour ce denier pourtant si caractéristique.
