Les reliefs sont bien venus sur une bonne partie du type, sauf à 9 heures en raison d’une faiblesse de frappe. Une jolie patine grise, avec des reflets légèrement bleutés, recouvre cet exemplaire

ARTOIS - SIEGE OF AIRE-SUR-LA-LYS
(1710)
The War of Spanish Succession was particularly rich in numismatic history. Many besieged cities minted siege coins, such as Aire-sur-La-Lys which was besieged by the allies in 1710. The obsidional coins of Aire bear all the arms of Goesbriand, governor of the city during the siege.
