Monnaie sur un flan relativement large et ovale, avec un droit centré mais un revers partiellement hors flan. Patine grise et très granuleuse

Avec ce type de flan, nous sommes en présence d’un statère vraisemblablement armoricain au sens large. Le style du droit semble être sans équivalent... si ce n’est avec la drache DT. 3639 A qui présente ce même grand œil de face, mais est attribuée à la Basse Loire et à la Gironde (sic ?). Le revers est d’un style proche de certains taureaux sur les grands bronzes nédènes....

The obverse style seems to be unparalleled... except for the drache DT. 3639 A, which has the same large eye from the front, but is attributed to the Lower Loire and Gironde (sic?). The reverse is in a style similar to that of certain bulls on large Neden bronzes...
