(III - Ist century BC)

Argos according to mythology was one of the principal cities of the kingdom of Agamemnon with Mycenae. Argos, very soon found himself the capital amphictyony Dorian. Phidion Argos is described as one of the creators of the currency of Aegina. After the death of Alexander and Lamian War 322 BC, Argos entered the Achaean League in 280 BC The league was dissolved in 146 BC after taking Corinth by the Romans.
