ARDENNES - COUNTY OF CHINY - LOUIS V OF LOON

(1268-1299)

Louis V de Looz, is the son of Arnold II (1226-1268). For the county of Chiny, his workshop was established in Ivoix, a town which took the name of Carignan in the 17th century when it fell to a younger branch of the Savoie-Carignan family. His nephew, Arnould III de Chiny, V de Looz, succeeded him in 1299.
