Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 88 coins de droit et de 98 coins de revers. Les auteurs espagnols du Catàlogo ont différencié deux types de casques pour ce denier suivant l’inclinaison et la position du casque sur le buste de Virtus. Notre denier appartient au deuxième type qui semble beaucoup plus rare.
For this type, Mr. Crawford noted an estimate of 88 obverse dies and 98 reverse dies. The Spanish authors of the Catàlogo differentiated two types of helmets for this denarius according to the inclination and position of the helmet on the bust of Virtus. Our denarius belongs to the second type, which seems much rarer.
