Commentary

Ce type précis avec l’annelet pointé devant l’aigle à droite et cette composition d’annelets pointé au revers manque aux collections du musée d’Oxford. Ce type est néanmoins reproduit dans l’ouvrage de Metcalf, page 210 du Volume II, en se référant à la trouvaille de Martson (“Plumed bird variety, Marston find”).
This particular type with the pointed ringlet in front of the eagle on the right and this composition of pointed rings on the reverse is missing from the collections of the Oxford Museum. This type is nevertheless reproduced in Metcalf's work, page 210 of Volume II, with reference to the Martson find (“Plumed bird variety, Marston find”)
