Cette monnaie fut frappée pour l'Archevêque de York, dans les dernières années de règne de Earned et peut-être jusqu'au deuxième règne de Aethelred II. La terminaison de la légende IPED pourrait être pour la fonction d'archevêque ?.
This coin was struck for the Archbishop of York, in the last years of Earned's reign and perhaps as late as the second reign of Aethelred II. Could the ending of the legend IPED be for the office of archbishop?
