Commentary

Ce poids monétaire fut frappé pour contrôler la demi guinée de Georges III. De fabrication anglaise, on retrouve au revers la grande couronne et les lettres WT (initiales d’un graveur ou abréviation pour WeighT) ainsi que le nom du graveur, KIRK, à l’avers sous le portrait.
