Obverse description : Un prêtre debout à droite, tourné vers la gauche, bénit un couple agenouillé devant lui. Il tient un livre dans la main gauche et une croix rayonnante dans la main droite, levée au dessus du couple. Derrière le prêtre, un autel parcouru de lierre sur lequel est déposé un calice.

Commentary
Tranche inscrite : C. SAULET M. TAUPIN UNIS LE 15 JUILT 1851. Il est remarquable que la tranche soit inscrite étant donné la finesse du flan, il s’agit d’un travail minutieux qui donne un cachet certain au jeton.
