Commentary

Ce jeton comporte un droit typique de la restauration : le titre du Roi est " de France" : la vieille formule "des Francs" (francorum) est abandonnée mais nous ne sommes pas encore à Roi des Français. Par ailleurs la forme des U en V, abandonnée dans les jetons depuis le début du XVIIIème siècle, est réutilisée certainement par souci d'archaïsme .
