Commentary
This small coin could be taken for a denarius or a quinary, but it nevertheless seems that we are in the presence of a quarter stater in very low electrum. This precise type is close to certain IAZVS denarii, but with a division or more likely quarter stater flan. This precise type seems to be missing from all reference works, whether they are publications by A. Deroc, Ybe van der Wielen, Anne Geiser, Franz E. Koenig, Matteo Campagnolo or even L.-P. Delestrée and M. Tache
