(1691-1694)

Jean-Georges IV, born in Dresden on October 18, 1668 and died in Dresden on April 27, 1694, is a prince of the house of Wettin, eldest son of the elector Jean-Georges III of Saxony and Anne-Sophie of Denmark . He succeeded as prince-elector of Saxony in 1691 but died after three years of smallpox. His younger brother Frédéric-Auguste succeeded him.
