Obverse description : Tête nue à droite de Guillaume roi de Wurtemberg. Signature dans le tranché de l’épaule : M.v.Hugo 1909. Deux petits enfants nus, de part et d’autre soutiennent une guirlande qui souligne le cartouche inscrit de 6 lignes. Une moulure encadre l’ensemble.

Commentary

D’après Henri Terisse, il s’agit d’une plaque d’hommage à un souverain bien aimé de la personne ayant offert la plaque aux mariés à l’occasion de leurs noces d’or.
