GERMANY - Kingdom of Westphalia - JEROME NAPOLEON

(8/12/1807-26/12/1813)

Jerome, the younger brother of Napoleon, was born Nov. 15, 1784. The Kingdom of Westphalia is tailored for him with the debris of Hanover, of Brunswick and Hesse-Cassel. On August 22, 1807, Jerome married Catherine of Württemberg and was appointed King of Westphalia December 8, 1807. In 1813, after Leipzig, Jerome must abandon its states are dismembered. After the battle of Waterloo, he lived in exile until 1848. Under the Second Empire, Marshal of France, he was president of the Senate and governor of the Invalides before dying in 1860.
