Commentary

Seulement 200 exemplaires de cette médaille auraient été frappés en argent ; l’exemplaire proposé par A. Tkalec en Septembre 2008 a été vendu 5000 francs suisses.

Le Parlement de Francfort ou littéralement assemblée nationale de Francfort a siégé entre le 18 mai 1848 et le 31 mai 1849 dans l'église Saint-Paul de Francfort. Il s'agissait de la première assemblée élue en Allemagne. Elle a été créée à la suite de la révolution de mars qui secoua les États de la confédération germanique en 1848..
