Commentary

L'incendie de Hambourg ravage la vieille ville de Hambourg du 5 au 8 mai 1842. On l'appelle aussi le grand Incendie (« Großer Brand »). Les flammes ont été visibles à plus de 50 kilomètres.

Le revers fait référence au Phénix qui renaît de ses cendres....
