GERMANY - PRINCIPALITY OF WALDECK - FREDERICK CHARLES AUGUSTE

(1763-1812)

Frédéric-Charles-Auguste (1743-1812) was the second son of Prince Charles-Auguste de Waldeck-Pyrmont. In 1763, on the death of his father, he became a prince. In 1805, his younger brother obtained the County of Pyrmont. The principality joined the Confederation of the Rhine on April 11, 1807. Frédéric-Charles-Auguste died without leaving a son and his brother Georges succeeded him at the head of the principality..
