Commentary

La médaille de base avait été dédiée le 24 Octobre 1901 par le Grand-Duc pour les jubilés dans le Grand-Duché d’Oldenburg. Elle fut faite sans date, conçue comme médaille pour les jubilés de mariage, les dates individuelles des différentes noces y furent gravées ultérieurement comme c’est le cas de cette médaille, inscrite au revers : 1867-1917.
The basic medal was dedicated on 24 October 1901 by the Grand Duke for the jubilees in the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg. It was made without a date, intended as a medal for wedding jubilees, the individual dates of the different weddings were later engraved on it as is the case with this medal, inscribed on the reverse: 1867-1917
