Très belle médaille avec de beaux reliefs et une très agréable patine ancienne, brune avec de petites marques de manipulation

Les Dassier furent les seuls médailleurs de leur siècle cités dans l'Encyclopédie de Diderot et d'Alembert :
- Jean Dassier, né le 17 octobre 1676 à Genève et mort dans la même ville le 12 novembre 1763, est un graveur et médailleur genevois du XVIIIe siècle.
- Jacques-Antoine Dassier, né à Genève le 13 novembre 1715 et mort à Copenhague le 2 novembre 1759, est un graveur et médailleur genevois.

Christian (von) Wolff ou Wolf, né à Breslau le 24 janvier 1679, mort à Halle (Saxe-Anhalt) le 9 avril 1754, est un philosophe, juriste et mathématicien..
