Cet exemplaire commémore le mariage du Prince Maximilien III Joseph de Bavière avec Marie-Anne de Saxe, Princesse de Saxe et de Pologne en 1747.
Czapski attribue cette médaille à 1747 (date du mariage), tandis que Grotemeyer, après analyse des traits du portrait de l'électeur, la date de 1763, donc frappée plusieurs années après le mariage.
This example commemorates the marriage of Prince Maximilian III Joseph of Bavaria with Maria Anna of Saxony, Princess of Saxony and Poland in 1747. Czapski attributes this medal to 1747 (date of the marriage), while Grotemeyer, after analyzing the features of the portrait of the elector, dates it to 1763, therefore struck several years after the marriage.
