(1665-1679)
The Duchy of Brunswick Lüneburg Calenberg was created following the division, in 1636, of the Duchy of Brunswick New Lüneburg. In 1648, following a new division, two new duchies were created, the Duchy of Brunswick Lüneburg Celle and the Duchy of Brunswick Lüneburg Calenberg. Jean-Frédéric succeeded Georges II Guillaume in 1665.
