Agréable sesterce frappé sur un flan idéalement centré. Une faiblesse de frappe au droit à cinq et six heures, et au revers de onze à deux heures. De jolis détails malgré l’usure. Patine verte

Aélius receives the title of Caesar at the very end of 136. Consul in 137, he becomes Lucius Ælius Verus and is sent as governor to Pannonia in 137. Sick, he returns to Rome and dies on January 1, 138.
