Commentary

Exemplaire avec poinçon lampe antique (1832-1841). Buste âgé.
La société libre d’agriculture et de commerce est fondée en 1797. D’une faible activité, elle est reprise en main par M. Delaitre en 1822. La révolution de 1830 lui donne un coup d’arrêt définitif. En 1832, elle devient “société libre d’Agriculture, Sciences, Arts et Belles-Lettres”.
example with antique lamp mark (1832-1841). Aged bust. The Free Society of Agriculture and Commerce was founded in 1797. With little activity, it was taken over by Mr. Delaitre in 1822. The revolution of 1830 brought it to a definitive halt. In 1832, it became the “Free Society of Agriculture, Sciences, Arts and Belles-Lettres”
