FAUX MCP2. Affaire Mellard (1998). Le faussaire s'est appliqué à réaliser un faux crédible mais n'a pas vu qu'il mettait deux "m" à "amende" dans le texte de loi. Le filigrane et l'impression sont réussis, mais pas le strap. Le numéro correspond à l'émission de 1998 et non 1995. Il est également différent sur le recto et sur le verso. Tampon rouge "MARSEILLE 29 DEC 1998 FAUX" recto et verso.
FAKE MCP2. Mellard case (1998). The forger tried hard to create a credible fake but failed to notice that he was adding two \\\"m\\\"s for \\\"amende\\\" in the legal text. The watermark and printing are good, but not the strap. The number corresponds to the 1998 issue, not 1995. It is also different on the front and back. Red stamp \\\"MARSEILLE 29 DEC 1998 FAUX\\\" on the front and back
