Commentary

FAUX Q1. Affaire Mazzei (1980). Faux d'excellent qualité, avec filigrane imprimé. Étrangement, la fabrication est appliquée mais l'alphabet est fantaisiste et correspond à l'émission de 1977 et non de 1976. Ces émissions, liées à la pègre marseillaise, ont été réalisées en quantités importantes. Un grand nombre de personnes furent impliquées.
FAKE Q1. Mazzei Affair (1980). Excellent quality fake, with printed watermark. Strangely, the manufacturing is diligent, but the alphabet is fanciful and corresponds to the 1977 issue, not the 1976 issue. These issues, linked to the Marseille underworld, were produced in large quantities. A large number of people were implicated.
