Commentary

Deux épreuves unifaces (recto seul et verso seul), sur papier fiduciaire grandes marges, sans filigrane, collées sur deux pages cartonnées à fenêtres. Date complète mais placée, comme sur le type émis, sous "Banque de France" et non sous "Payable à vue...", comme sur l'autre essai de 1913 illustré dans le Fayette. Les signatures sont bien celles de 1913. La valeur dans les angles est d'une typographie proche de celle de 1927. Les signataires sont notés en toutes lettres comme sur l'émission de 1927..
Two single-sided proofs (front only and back only), on wide-margined fiduciary paper, without watermark, glued on two cardboard pages with windows. Complete date but placed, as on the issued type, under \\\"Banque de France\\\" and not under \\\"Payable à vue...\\\", as on the other 1913 proof illustrated in Le Fayette. The signatures are indeed those of 1913. The value in the corners is of a typography close to that of 1927. The signatories are noted in full as on the 1927 issue.
